Yes. It's a long story.

But I have been thinking about something. The large crystal cracked, didn't it? And that's when these problems started. When I use my power on an object, I am asking it to return to where it once was. Like a memory.

So I wonder if the crystal starting to crack is somehow bringing out its memory of this place.

And our memories along with it. You might be onto something -- it lines up with so many people becoming younger.

If the crystal itself has some power over time, it would make sense for things to go wrong if it becomes unstable.

I have asked the crystal before for an object from home that exists in my original time, even though the time I was in was thousands of years before it was ever made. I got that object. So it must form part of its magic.

It might be that this world was unstable to begin with. I mean, it brings us all from all manner of realms, and there's someone from my world who claims things about me that I've said and done that they have no business of knowing yet... as if she's from the future. I don't have any reason to believe they're lying.

So in that sense, the crystal only makes things even more dangerous.

Power misused is always dangerous, unfortunately.

I doubt I can affect it, given the extent of the problem. But I will see if I can learn anything about it up close.

Like I said, don't do anything risky. But let me know if you do learn anything.
